"No complaints about the food. We got some fried rice, miso soup and curry. Good vegetarian options and customised to some extent for the non-Chinese palette. The Shanghainese man in the hotel, presumably the owner, was aware of dietary restrictions of vegetarians and asked if egg, onion and garlic were acceptable. I am definitely going back. The restaurant is across two levels and service is efficient and quick. Oh. I forgot to add that they serve Tsingtao beer :-)."

"We live in Knysna and we eat there almost weekly. The food is always freshly prepared and of very good quality. The staff are incredibly friendly and they always remember exactly our preferences. We can absolutely recommend Bowtie."

"Authentic Chinese restaurant that serves good food. I always eat here when I pass by Knysna. Waited for 10-15 minutes for my three plates of vegetarian stir fry’s and soup. Stir fry’s were slightly soggy but other than that, I’ve got no problem. Friendly owner and staffs welcomed us into the restaurant."
